We have been huge fans of OneUp here at Stif for a while now. The Squamish, BC based brand creates innovative, class leading components to improve your ride. Pretty much all of us here have something from the brand on our bikes, whether that's bars & stems, chain guides or one of their super clever tools stored on the bike!
EDC Tool
The OneUp Components EDC, or ‘everyday carry’ is a tool system that's designed to fit as many tools as possible in one compact unit that's always in your bike so you never forget it. The 20 function EDC tool is the heart of the system; it can be stored in either your stem or or your EDC pump. The EDC tool has all the essentials: a chain breaker, a tire lever, four spoke keys, hex keys from 2 mm up to 8 mm, a screwdriver, a Torx T25, a valve core remover and more. There's two ways you can store an EDC tool, in your pump or in your stem. If you want total self-sufficiency, storing the tool in the pump is the way to go. If you want an integrated, convenient, easily accessible tool in the stem is probably your best option.

Stem Storage
Stem storage is the lightest and most integrated option, they're also available in a wide range of colors so you can customise the look of your setup. There are three stem storage options: EDC light, threadless and the threaded top cap. EDC light is easy to install and fits pretty much any bike; the included nine function multi-tool contains your most used tools and lives in your stem. The threadless carrier is the easiest way to store the 20 function EDC tool in your stem. Just remove the star nut, drop in the carrier and secure from below pop in your EDC tool and hit the trail. The EDC threaded top cap is the original, most widely used and most cost-effective way to store an EDC tool in your steerer tube.

Pump Storage
If you're looking for the easiest way to carry a pump and tools then EDC in-pump storage is probably the right option for you. It has everything you need to fix pretty much any trailside mechanical and it's also the easiest way to move your EDC system between bikes. There are two EDC pump options - 70c and 100c. The high volume design of both will get your tires up to a maximum of 45 PSI fast. The 70cc pump is a light compact setup that pairs great with smaller bikes or if you have limited space in your frame. With the EDC tool installed you can run either the small storage capsule or the plug kit inside the 70cc pump. The 100 cc pump has room for the large storage capsule and lets you carry the OneUp plug and plier kit along with the EDC tool. It also has a larger Air volume so you can pump tires up even faster. Stif Staffer Dave is a big fan of the pump, he has a 100cc version on his Nomad and has saved his ride more times than he can count! "I hate riding with a pack so I went for the OneUp EDC pump that fits under my bottle cage. It means I have all the tools I need to hand for any trailside repairs, including the all important chain breaker and room for tubeless plugs (I seem to destroy tyres more than most!). I can easily swap it between my bikes and it also leaves more room in my Glovebox for snacks!"

OneUp created the EDC system so you never have to ride with tools in your pocket or worse - forget them at home, so whether you're on a quick lunch ride or full-blown adventure you'll always have the tools you need to save a ride - whether that's yours or an unprepared riding friend!
