European Orders
We are currently only able to ship Bikes & Frames from Santa Cruz, Juliana, GT & Cervelo, as well as Reserve Wheelsets into the EU. We cannot ship parts, clothing or accessories into the EU.
The total amount that you will pay to us is shown at checkout and does not include VAT.
All items eligible for import into the EU will be subject to local taxes and import duties, which vary by country and in some cases can be very expensive. We urge you to speak to your local customs for an accurate cost estimate before placing your order. We are unable to offer advice/quotes on potential charges as they vary by both region and product.
As well as VAT, Duties and any additional processing fees levied by your local courier and/or customs, items for which the country of origin is 'China' may be subject to anti dumping fees. Be aware that these are again, very expensive. Your order will be packed in - and shipped from - the UK, but this does not necessarily mean that the UK is the Country of Origin. In most cases, we are able to advise you if anti dumping fees would apply to any given bicycle that we have in stock. Please enquire before placing your order. Note that this information may not be immediately to hand and we may require a little while to get back to you.
In most cases, you will be made aware of - and required to pay - all fees before your order is released from your local customs and delivered to your address, but we have been made aware of some cases where goods arrive and are followed with an invoice in the days or weeks after.
Once your order is placed, YOU are liable for any additional costs/taxes/duties. Should you refuse the items on the basis of these costs, any refund you are entitled to will have the costs we have incurred in shipping and retrieving your item deducted.
Finally, please note that whilst there is no additional time required for us to process and dispatch your order, the time it will take to clear customs does vary. In most cases an additional 24-48 hours is required, but we've had instances of delays of weeks at the point of import.
We appreciate that none of the above is ideal and makes buying your next bike from Stif far more difficult than we'd like it to be. We'll do everything we can to make the process as smooth as possible.
